Plankalkül
Open Platform for Digital Enterprise Builder
1. DefinIation of Expectations
In a business narrative interview will be formulate the expectations for the tailored roadmap to your digital enterprise. The result of the formulated interview will be discussed in a general agreement (e.g. a general technical specification), which contains concrete digital architecture of your digital business adventure.
2. Validation of Roadmap-worthiness
In those step are customer expectations validated with feasibility in terms of time, budget, accuracy, support etc. Two approaches need to be considered. High complexity requires many factors to be knowing and planed, versus make it so simple as possible but not simpler approach. Our roadmap is 100% future-proof and implements the latest findings of Industry 4.0 as well as open standards, so that you are well positioned in the future.
3. FORMULATION OF TARGETS
Each company aims at a system of targets. It usually consists of a top target (such
as profitability), which splits into a variety of sub-targets that interact with each
other. The definition of the target system is an important preparatory step of evaluating your digital roadmap.
4. ACQUIRING & ABSTRACTION OF DATA
Required data for the digital-roadmap and simulation are structured in 1. Technical data like factory structural data, manufacturing data, material flow data, accident data. 2. Organizational data like working time organization, resource allocation and organizational system. 3. System load data like single part data, product data, job data etc..
5. Two STrategies of Modeling
The modeling phase includes to define the hierarchically concept of the digital-roadmap. There are two approaches of object-oriented modeling. Derive an iconic model from the conceptual model based on the accuracy of the simulation, necessary decisions are taken about which aspects to simplify. 1. Top-Down Strategy, rough structured model will be break down step-by-step. 2. Bottom-Up strategy, detailed model with small degree of abstraction.
6. Executing Simulation Runs
Depending on the objectives of the simulation study, the experiments based on a test plan will be realized. In the test plan, the individual experiments on output data, arguments of the model, objectives, and expected results are determined.
7. Result Analysis and Result Interpretation
The values, which will change in the modeled system, are derived from the
simulation results. The correct interpretation of the simulation results significantly influences the success of a simulation study. If the results contradict the assumptions made, it is necessary to analyze what influences are responsible for the unexpected results.
8. Documentation
For the documentation of a digital simulation study, the form of a project report is recommended. The documentation should provide an overview of the timing of the study and document the work conducted. Of interest in this context is the
documentation of failed system variants and constellations.
9. Customer satisfaction discussions
Have the customer’s requirements been met or even over-met? If further projects are planned in the future, there are planned expansion stages which can be subjected to digital-roadmapping and simulation as well. Is it being considered to refine the digital simulation carried out for marketing and advertising purposes?
Grab Your Analog-Targets and Transform them to Digital-Solutions
You require dedicated digitalization strategy and defined roadmap towards company´s own digital future? We gain an insight into the current lean management situation on site, discuss with you and your employees about the targets you have set yourself, evaluate them based on your current industrial infrastructure and available employee knowledge. The evaluation is based on selected criteria and is transparently adapted to your needs.

Object-Oriented Concept Building
Before you start thinking about Industry 4.0, you need to rethink and adapt your digital infrastructure. Industry 4.0 is not available as a technology, companies have to develop and implement their own concept. We are at your side with advice and action and help you to implement the necessary steps leading to your digital factory.

Why object-oriented interoperability simulation is a business boost?
Fast and Global
We all dream of the digital deterministic factory, which has access to all data sources and provides reliable analyzes for production and assembly. Of course, everything in real time and globally for all systems in your value chain.
Predictive Workshop
But are a production worker absent due to illness, a burst hydraulic hose on a processing machine, a delay in delivery of an important assembly component, also foreseeable when all requirements of a digital factory are taken into account?
Statistic Analysis
The statistical analysis is necessary for the acceptance of the results of a stochastic simulation study. Statistical analysis can be used to identify whether differences in the observed values can only be explained by chance or whether they have significant causes.
Probobility Theory
Already 250 years earlier, Pierre Simon Laplace (1749-1827) defined the classical concept of probability in his attempt at a philosophy of probability theory. He was looking for a reason for deviations, which were subject to a certain assumption.
Simulation Conclusion
The same considerations have to be done again today after the end of a simulation study. Why do the results of a simulation study with the real system soften a discrepancy, do new factors have to be taken into account or can obstacles be removed?

Are You Looking to Transform your Industrial Business?
Digitize your Industrial Processes
Components communicate with machines and production systems are networked with one another. You exchange data in real time and coordinate production processes fully automatically. The systems report specific maintenance requirements or order material independently, so that the system efficiency is increased and the production of rejects is reduced.

Object-Oriented Simulation Values
When planning automated factories with flexible manufacturing processes, simulation has become an indispensable tool. It allows the production system to be modeled on a computer system. Different variants of the production system and effects of different dimensions and controls can be tried out through “experiments”.
